Where to spend my money?

Current:
02 Tahoe Z71
20x10 wheels 285/50 tires
Volant cold air
eibach 2/3 kit
ss brake lines
have electric fans, but not installed yet due to needing pcm pin turned on
Side note, I have a mild stereo completed also.

I have about $900-1100 to spend right now. I will be installing rear helper bags so deduct $150 from that.

I will continue to modify in the future, but I need to place things in priority right now. So please list these things in order of need in your opinion.

I was thinking:
1. BB autocal (550) I am waiting to hear back from them.
or just regular BB tune??

2. Some sort of shift kit
likely corvette servos (suggestions)

3. Cat back Edelbrock exhaust (155 on clearance)

4. GMT900 brakes (450)
or upgrade pads (120)

5. headers (depends on brand, open to suggestions)

6. cam (again open to suggestions here)

Where to spend my money cause I want more performance (definately better shifts) but still improve my milage (or at least not worse).

Tune and servo. I would say that unless you're running big wheels you don't NEED the brake upgrade, but that's just me.

Cam and headers would be great, but get them first, then the tune.

Id do headers, tune, servos for rite now..Unless your installing a cam yourself the cost of the cam kit itself and install will be upwards of 1k..

I will be doing all of the work so that wont be a cost issue.

I know the exhaust on these trucks is good, but I was thinking that there might be some gains to be had in the weight difference between the edelbrock and the stocker.

As of right now I will be doing helper bags, BB tune of some sort, and corvette servos.

So that leaves about $300 left to spend.

Eh id still just swap just the muffler out instead of the catback...Then you would have $355 and i would pick up a modded TB convertor from Circle-D...

I Would Wait on the Tune~! get LT Headers, Vett Servos or Buillet B&M servos, if a Cam is in the works do Heads too! the 4.8L heads have smaller chambers that flow better when ported and polished! since Ya gotta move them to get down there any how. What about E-Fans? and then maybe gears? I.E. :4.10's? then I would do the Tune.

ok I now see You have E-fans so I would do the LT Headers and the Servos, and maybe hook up ur E-Fans.

Okay, so the fan harness and autocal showed up this week. My fans got lost during shipping at my local distribution center:emotions122: I decided to not do the exhaust as the stocker is pretty good, I understand, and I do NOT want that drone noise that is always possible. I have a Corsa on my magnacharged CTS-V and love it so Ill likely save up for that.

I would love to do heads and cams, but not in the budget right now. I also do not plan to ever do a converter or gear change as I don't want to lose the mileage and the performance gain is not that important here.

Justin said to wait on the servos and see how the tune does alone.

Are shorty headers worth it as I dont want to go with LT right now due to cost and then I have to do something with my cats and emissions, Correct?

Current plan, finish E-fans, already have volant ram air, install and tune autocal, Brakes in near future, bag level kit, save for magnacharger!

Ill keep everyone updated as I install items.

Shorties aren't worth it turbocharged because they don't retain as much heat as cast iron manifolds. Unless you have to run tubular headers for clearance or fitment replacing the manifolds is a mistake. That's why STS systems have everything wrapped as they want the heat and exhaust gas velocity, and front mount turbo kits retain the driver's side manifold. The truck manifolds have been proved to 2000+HP in the Ohio Boy's race cars.
