Where's the sub on an '03 Denali??

I've got an '03 Denali with the Bose CD/Casette/am/fm/xm radio. I thought there was a subwoofer somewhere, and when I looked in the back it looks like there's one in the side panel above the jack. When I opened it up, it's just a big empty space. Am I missing the sub or is it just somewhere else??

i believe it's in the center console, at least that's where my is at

That's where the sub was located pre-03.

Run some wires back there and install a second sub.

what size sub woofer fits on the back 10" 12" ?
