So I’m off to work just put a new running board pad on my car and proud of myself. When I arrive at the parking lot I usually look back. With a little SUV vanity. When to my surprise there were paint splatter one all one side of the vehicle. Well I was um mad. Any ideas how to get this off the paint.

Thank you.

Try applying some WD-40 and lightly scrub with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

Second^ goof off is good too but wd40 would be my go too. It’s what I use to scrub industrial 2 part paint off me when I’m working on deck lol

If it makes you feel better, my wife, who loves to hug the white line, was driving our old grand marquis one day on a country road that was getting painted. She probably had 1 mile of fresh white line paint accumulated on the passenger side rocker panel and rear clip. Looked like white spray on bedliner. Unfortunately we didn’t discover this until it had dried on pretty good. It was a third vehicle so I said screw it.

Thank you all. I ended up issuing Bug be gone a scrub brush and some brand new rags. With some cleaning I was able to get most of it off. The wheel wells have a little lest over. Looks minor compared to what it was.

Not the best photos but before and after. Hearing some of your stories I got off light.

Thanks to all for your ideas. They help.

Ken
