Who makes the best brake drums/shoes?

Has anyone tried the Duralast drums? They're $57 a pop and I know I can get them to check they're true and round while I pick them up. They carry the same 2 year warranty as the Delcos also. I know a lot of people and shops go with the Duralast pads and rotors and don't have any complaints.

I used them on my 2000 Z71. They worked well, but they did rust right off the bat and looked pretty bad. I would paint them.

Well I purchased it when it had about 75k miles and I have never touched the rear brakes. I don't recall if the last owner ever did either. At the moment I'm just assuming they're original but we will see once they come off.
Man, $1300, that's a SSBC drum to disc conversion kit right there.
Deffinetly check out Amazon for AC Delco parts. I picked up the Professional shoes for $12 just because the box was beat up. So far I've spent $55 total for shoes, cylinders and all new hardware.

I think when mine need to be searviced i will just switch to disc

I switched to E-Coated rotors at my last brake changed. They’re nice since they don’t really rust.
