Sometimes the stability control light will come on if your brake light switch is going bad. Very common in some vehicles, especially Hyundais. Have someone check your tail lights while you're pushing the brake pedal. Even if they're working part-time, it can still throw the light. Just means the switch is on it's way out. Happened to me in my old FX4 F-150. Very simple and cheap fix IF that's the problem. Switch is about $16-$25 at the dealer. If it's not the switch, you may be looking at a sensor issue or a Stability Trac module. Let us know what you find.
