This morning while into work in the first 500 feet of driving the locks started going crazy from unlock to lock and factory headunit was turning on and off hvac was reaet along with the rpms raising while no power was put through the drivetrain then rengauged.

Pulled over check every cable was tight to both batteries truck was reading over 14 volts on the dash the entire time .

Let it idle a little and hopped back in on my way to work .

Curiosity got the best of me, because the lights seem to dim when I put the turn signal on .

I pulled both front window switches up at the same time ( windows are already up) to create a draw and the whole truck shut off going 40mph down the highway. It turned right back on but now my driver's side head light was burned out .

Drove fine the rest of the way to work 15 minutes or so. Parked in my spot and while idleing I did it again and nothing happened but lights just went a little dim as normal .

Recent history

Truck was remote started this morning and idled for 8 minutes before driving off.

Alt and both batteries replaced in August along with mega fuse and cable .

Most recent work is long tubes and cermaic summit wires

It's very odd, the only wire I can think they would have removed to do the headers would be on the passenger side starter with.

When it was at idle and I did the same thing with the windows it did nothing much and it stayed running and did not dip in rpm.

I'll check all grounds when I get home today .

The grounds I can think off the top of my head are passenger side battery to block, driver's side to block in from of alternator , ground strap on driver side head in the back and under driver's door in the frame and batter ground cable .

So I just went out in the day light now , it was 4am when I went to work, both the driver's side positive and negative are loose on the battery . Not really that bad but now that I can see both turn easy on the both posts with out much effort.

There are 2 on the 2 frame rails almost under the rad support really need to remove front bumper to see them.

Nevertheless i see you found your problem. Good luck
