Will a Kenwood or Rockville powered Sub fit inside the Center console? NNBS 07-13

I scoured the internets on this and I can’t find any photos. If I pull up the center console will either the Rockville SS8P or Kenwood KSC-SW11 fit in there? I saw a thread with photos for the 99-06 Tahoe but nothing for the NNBS. I am not looking to bump like the boys in the hood I just want some better sound up front for under $100.

Rockville SS8P is 11.4 x 8.3 x 2.8 $80
Kenwood KSC-SW11 is 11 x 7.5 x 2.8 and is $47 more than the Rockville.

Not sure if that will work without some trimming. It's not just a square clearance under the console. They use to make custom boxes for that (MTX and JL audio). Theres a seller on Ebay that still make boxes. Here are the measurements for the MTX box. Good luck

Thank you for posting that. I actually read that thread before I made a post here and I was under the impression that it was for a NBS Tahoe; not our NNBS TahoeYukons... Looks like it fits fine. Ordering now.

Even a moderate gain in bass would be substantial. I only last week installed new rear speakers as the old ones have been dead for years per the previous owner. I watched a YT video and installed foam baffles along with the replacement 6.5” Pioneers to protect them from water. What a dumb GM design to not even put plastic over them.

Lol good catch I meant the SUBWOOFER with the built in amp. I just saw that Rockville (factory direct) is selling refurb versions for $76 with free shipping. If this works out good for my Tahoe I’ll put one in my 2500HD too.

Anyone know what this wire is for? I do not have the Bose option. I popped off the center console tray and saw it taped up from the factory.
