Will just adding slp tip add drone?

I am thinkn about cutting the resonator off and adding the slp tip but I don't want any cabin noise or drone. Will just doing this cause drone??

Not at all... personally I can hardly tell a difference.

Basically will sound about like the GMT800. I think the resonator was to help muffle the AFM sound in 4 cyl. mode.

No. I think some of y'all are giving the SLP tip too much credit LOL The only real thing this tip changes is looks. Doesn't change the sound much and sure as heck doesn't make a difference with emissions :lol: All it does is give you more things you have to clean and polish

No way buddy. Heck Silverados don't even have one from the factory

All it does is give you more things you have to clean and polish

It LITERALLY stays cleans for a day
