Depends on what size/weight of a boat you are planning on putting into the water.

Can someone find that vido clip where the DUDE did indeed sink his Truck TWICE?????? That might give GODOY some ideas of what COULD happen. ;)

Go to youtube. Lots of videos of boat launch fails.

We used both my 1988 and 1994 1/2 ton Chevy 2wd's to launch our 16' Sea Ray and Four Winns Fling. Granted both boats aren't that big or heavy, but I never had an issue. You just need to be careful where you launch. Some launches are very slippery with no traction cuts in the concrete.

Will having traction control help? Whats the best way?

I live at the lake and launch alot of boats with my tahoe and various vehicles. I usually forget i have it in 2wd and have yet to have a problem. But i have experienced it 100% depends on the launch ramp your using. With the drought in the midwest you have to back down alot farther than usuall and the trailer can drop off and without 4wd to pull you up you may get stuck. But unless your on an insane incline your not going to slide backwards if you arent making it up stop and put it in park with the parking break on and proceed to find somebody to hook up to your and pull you up. Traction control probably wont help you'll want to spin through the algae on the ramp and possibly get traction if your slipping. Long story short, go for it an 18ft bayliner weighs barely anything.

That's the one! Not sure if it was a 2 wheeler. If it wasn't and it was a 4x4, the guy needs to be send to the institution.

Lol that sucks to be him
Good thing his insurance covered it????
