will not start today

today i went out to go somewhere in the hoe and it would not start. The motor does turn over and everything. just seems like it has no spark. the fuel pump is working because i can smell the gas. it has down this before after it has rained heavily. what could be the problem? i noticed that the black box with the 4 connectors on the driver side was wet. its like it got rained on? i tried unplugging it and letting it sit in the sun for a few hours but still didnt start after installing it. any help would be great.

Do you have spark?
Pull a boot off a plug and stick a screwdriver in it. Place it about 1/4" away from metal. Have someone crank it and check for spark.

the pcm has sealed connections so moisture should not be an issue for it.
