I am putting together a plan on how to best build up my tahoe. so far i have spectre intake, true dual magnaflow exaust, diablo predator tune, and
285/70/17s. I want to eventually end up with a built up LQ9 and Built 4L80E but thats prob a year or 2 away. this is my everyday driver, and i found a good deal on longtube headers. my question is will the same headers fit a LQ9 when i decide to finally buy one?

this is a picture of my tahoe. the only offroad i do is going to the beach most weekends during the summer and occasional trips to the river or campground. i am open to suggestions on what to get next. the only thing i have not liked about my tahoe so far is i cant gain speed while going up steep hills

i have heard conflicting stories about weather or not headers will give any noticable increase in power or sound. does anyone have any experience with them after they already put on an intake and dual exaust? also i was told by one shop that headers are prone to exaust leaks, is this just cause he doesnt want to put them on?

The gains on SUVs I am not familar with, I have not put headers on my burb but its in the works.

As far as leaks I wouldn't worry about, I havent read or seen many complaints with leaks as long as you use GM multi layer gaskets and Gm bolts or better you should be ok.
