i have LPP's and i had fitment issues and i had to get a custom steering shaft and i have to get the Y adjusted so its not hitting the crossmember. but others dont have problems like me. steering shaft was about $100 and the Y adjustment i was quoted $40.

the sound is pretty good. only complaint i have is that you can hear the air coming through the headers, making a whooshing sound. at first, i thought my exhaust was leaking. LPP uses thinner stainless steel. I also have the magnaflow kit, and i think the truck sounds pretty good. can't say too much about the mpgs, because i dont drive the truck too often now that im trying to lose weight and biking around a lot, plus i never payed a lot of attention to the mpgs anyway, cuz i knew they'd be horrible either way lol, but power is definitely there. especially after the 91 BB tune.

on another note, will ceramic coating the headers cut down on that whooshing sound?

i cant imagine headers making a whooshing sound, doesnt seem like it would sound like fast moving air, but more like combustion and rumble. as far as i know, the ceramic coating is only applied to the outside of the tubes to help keep the heat inside. hot air moves faster and the engine compartment will love you for cooling it down, but i dont think it effects the sound.

Justin from BB said the same thing cuz he's heard others with LPP's, they just use a thinner steel. the headers definitely make the car rumble a bit more tho.
