Hey guys... wifey chewed through her Wilwood brake pads on the front rotors relatively quick. A call to Wilwood this morning, we found out that these brake pads generally last 10-12k miles, after that, you are on borrowed time. So... I ordered new pads for all four corners (going to keep the rear pads at the house in case we need them) and had them overnited from California.

Now... those were some expensive ass pads! LOL.

Does anyone know if there is a cross-over part for them? I thought I heard at one time that the pads from a Chrysler 300 were comparable?

Anyone have any insight to this... just for future reference. :Handshake:

Damn, 10-12k miles on a set of pads! What are the Wilwood pads made up of? That seems pretty quick to fry though some pads. Hopefully you can find a cross-over part.

I know they are expensive brakes, and with expensive parts come expensive repairs, just looking for an alternative. $300 in brake pads per year isn't horrible, but figured it'd be interesting to find some solutions.. :D
