Window Regulator cable kit

So I have seen the window regulator cables alone as a kit being sold for other type of vehicles, such as BMW, Jeeps and others. The driver side window regulator on my 2002 Yukon Denali snapped one of the cables. I already replaced the entire unit with the regulator , cable and motor, however was wondering if anyone knows if the cables alone as a kit are being sold and who has them. I also found a company in the UN that sells the tool ( wire cruncher) with a roll of cable, so the wires can be made. Would like to know if anything similar to this can be found here in the US. Thank all..

I got my regulator/ motor for $57 shipped on ebay (Dorman). I think it would be easier to change the whole regulator than to fuss with the cables.

just out of curiosity how much is this roll of cable and cruncher ?
im just wondering if its even cost effective compared to what can be found on ebay and other internet sites
and to be hones it seems like alot of work compare to just swapping out the whole assy

Agreed.... again... I just replaced the motor and regulator this past weekend. If you're going to tear the door half apart to get in there, you might as well replace it all. It is also easier to do the whole thing, as opposed to just replacing the cable.
