Windows automatically go down, but not up

I have an 03 Yukon. The front driver and passenger windows go down automatically with a tap of the button, but they do not go back up automatically. I have to hold the button down.

Is this normal or is there something wrong with my truck? How can I fix this?

It's to prevent things like kids with their heads out the window and accidentally closing them in the window. Or fingers, hands, feet, etc. That way people can't sue anymore over frivolous things.
