windshield wiper motor in the hatch.

I have a 2005 tahoe but i'm tryhing to put a 2004 suburban back windshield wiper motor in my tahoe. problem it is a littler bigger. on every site or forum most say it should work. I thought the motor didnt work at first, but it does the problem is when I clip it to the factory harness I hear a noise like its on and it is. but does not turn. but if I touch the metal contact and the door and it works fine. Can anybody let me know what the problem might be someone told me I might have a problem with my truck wires. and bad current.

You may have better luck in the 2000-2006 section as this is the 2015 section. Good luck.
