Hey guys haven't been on here for awhile just enjoying life and my Hoe! But one problem I have with my truck are the windshield wipers.

They work perfectly fine except they don't sit where they are supposed to. They come down to the bottom, and then pop back up. So pretty much they DO go down all the way, but as soon as they hit the bottom they come back up and stay almost half way on my windshield.

Has anyone had this problem before? Do I need to replace my wiper assembly...

not at all expensive and nowhere near hard to replace. its $30 bucks, and all you need to do is take the cap off the motor (it rests on the firewall) replace the chip (motor) and recover it. easy as pie

This started to happen tonight on my 2007 Yukon Denali. The popup isn't bad, maybe an inch higher then they used to sit. When I got out, I was able to push them back down to there normal resting position.

Tomorrow, I'll see if that fixed it. Anyone else ever have this. Seems like a stop reset as opposed to a new motor.

I believe there is a sticky that deals with erractic WW behavior. The circuit board and contacts get dirty and start acting up. Check it out, clean it up and resolder in bad looking connections. If it still doesn't work the motor assembly needs to be replaced. Not a bad job, but the wiper arms and cowl cover have to come off in order to get the new motor back in and the arms where they need to be.

New info. I was testing some other electrics and left power on too long and killed the battery. Got is jump-started with my jump battery, but basically it was like disconnecting the battery. I caused a reset, now the washer blades go all they way down.

So, if this happens to you, disconnect battery to fix.
