Started today after heavy snow windshield wipers work on all settings but when you turn them off they go all the way down then pop like a 1/4 way back up and stop. Can't get them to go back to normal position. Any suggestions?

Thanks I looked at that and it doesn't state there problem mine does it when it wants sometimes it will go down to it's normal position sometimes it doesn't it's annoying trying to drive through a blizzard and your wipers stop in the middle of your windshield. We're getting 10-14 inches today and tonight. And only one of my rear doors defrost works Idk where to begin with that either lol

Im certain it is your problem. You can search on other forums and see there are many, many, many symptoms, but the same fix. Good Luck!

Would buying a new motor fix this as well? Or getting one off of another truck?

Yes and no. Yes for a time with a new one. and no with a used because it will have the exact same problem. Seriously, this is a 10 minute fix.

unknown at this time.
It may have the same issue. It really only effected 1994-1997 really. So it may or may not work a used one from those years. But odds are high that it would be fine. 1998-2000 should not have the issue unless the manufacturer decided it wanted to be extremely sloppy in their that day.

Sun, my first issue was with a 99 and this write-up is from a 99. So I can't say I 100% agree with you on this one ;)

OP, don't put it off. They are going to fail when you need them.
