I'm planning on changing the fluids on the front and rear diff, transfer case and Transmission.

What're you guys running in the diffs and transfer case?

I should probably know this as I just changed the front diff a week ago and I’ve got all the fluid ready to go in the corner of the garage for the tcase and rear diff. My best guess is Valvoline. In my basic knowledge of fluids it’s all the same except that only some are higher priced. I always use full synthetic where applicable, however.

I either get the fluids from the dealer or order the oem fluids off of amazon or just have the dealer do it, just depends

I had a 2002 Tahoe LT with 4wd and used OE fluids such as Dexron VI for the trans, auto trak II for the transfer case, 75w-90 for the rear diff with the G80 and 80w-90 for the front diff. If there is a different fluid for the AWD, look it up in your manual.

On mine.....

75w140 on front and rear diffs. Also run them oh-so-slightly overfilled to compensate for higher drain time

amsoil multi vehicle ATF in the trans (normal stuff, not the fuel saver). Rig seems to like this one the most which is why I mention branding. YMMV.

And the OE blue stuff in the tcase, though mine is a 4wd model not AWD
