Wireless Charging Retro?

Anyone tried retro fitting a wireless charging mat from a new model into the older consoles? or cobbled something together from a home wireless charger? I've sold my Yukon but, I picked up a 2011 Sierra Denali that has the same center console/armrest. It has every option I could ask for, expect wireless charging.

I thought I saw a thread on here a while back where a guy did a mod and installed a wireless charger in the center console lid. I will have to look for it.

He installed it underneath if I remember correctly. instructions show installation a different way
