With or without side steps?

I think if you’re lifted it looks better with them off and if you’re stock or especially lowered it looks better with them on. IMO it’s a big part of the reason the NBS Denali’s don’t look good lifted, because the running boards are matched with the rest of the ground effects like the wheel trim so if you pull them off the rest of it looks like something is missing. And if you leave them on it looks weird lifted.

The funny thing is that if you are lifted, you are more likely to need them...

Well you need some that hang down farther because the stock ones are too high then.
