So I took our 09 Yukon to the glass shop today to have the windshield replaced and everything was going great until they went to back the truck out when they were done. The car will not shift out of park and says service stabilitrack, traction control off, Service ABS. We'll long story short it had to be towed to the dealership for them to try and determine what's wrong. Anyone else ever had this happen before. I sure am glad we bought the extended warranty when we purchased the truck less than 30 days ago now.

i have all these problems. what ended up being the problem with getting out of park was my peddle positioning sensor. i still have to get it fixed. there is a certain place where i push the brakes down that it actually registers to be on. im going next week to get it fixed. but i have no idea what the traction control, abs, and stabilatrack could be. please let me know when your yukon is out of the shop. then maybe i could get an idea of what the problem is. also, my cruise control went out and tpms acts up once in a blue moon.

Dealership called yesterday and said the truck was fixed but the extended warranty wouldn't cover anything. The brake switch went bad and had to be replaced is what I understood the proble to be. Fortunately for us it was only $180 to get it fixed. However the dealership we bought the truck from that sold us the warranty told us it was bumper to bumper that if anything went wrong it was covered. The guy even said " If the ac goes out all u pay is $100 and the rest is covered. If there is an electrical problem you pay $100. This warranty covers everything. " he lied about the warranty he sold us. It was basically power train warranty so I will be dealing with them on Monday!!

That's what my understanding was. I did have emergency surgery this week so I am going off of what the dealership told me. I haven't looked over the receipt yet but that's what they told me.

Oh no! Sorry to hear that you had to have emergency surgery but I am glad that you are doing good with little recovery time.

Sincerely,
