Well, I started with this:
IMG_1621.JPG

And ended up with this so far:
IMG_1636.JPG

To date:

Removed body side molding
Removed pinstripe
Removed badges
Painted lower portion of two tone with truck bed liner paint

To do:
Finish buffing the marks off where the pinstripe was and emblems
sand and paint bumpers same flat black
new exhaust on
tint front windows to match back

I think it's going well, just wanted to post up and give everyone another option in their bag of tricks :)

Looks good! Major difference in just removing that stuff and redoing the bottom of the two tone. I would remove the chrome trim around the wheel wells to complete the look. Matching the bumpers to the two tone is a good idea as well. Looking forward to the completed pics!

Yea, just ditching the body side molding to me was a huge +++. I'm also removing the rust at the bottom of the doors as I go about doing this, so it's a double bonus, looks less old guy and gets rid of the rust.

Want to take the chrome fender things off, afraid of what is under them... Might take them off, if it's really bad paint them the same black color and put them back..

Agreed, lose the chrome trim. I'd also lose the mud flaps.

Should look good once you do the bumpers. Looks much better than before. Do 20% or 35% up front, will match nicely with the other windows.

it would look even better if you painted the back and front bumpers

Looks tight my friend. I'm loving the Rhino Lined rockers. Like the others said, the chrome wheel well trim just doesn't look right without the side molding. If you do strip it, look into getting some stock fender flares (I know Bushwacker sells OEM for these trucks, or just buy a set taken off a OBS) and Rhino Line those to match the rockers. That would look *******! That's the plan for mine when the time comes.
