I like my 2016 Denali but love my 2002. Technology wise, the 16 is awesome but the 2002 is so much more comfortable to drive.
I agree, my buddy rented a 2015 & it seemed like driving a vehicle bigger than it was. The lane avoidance drives you nuts on narrow roads. My 2002 Yukon XL is more to my liking.

Agree.

Ride on the new ones (especially MRC) is awful compared to the older models. Miss my 2010. Some people, apparently, like it and call it 'sportier'. I call it bouncy and thrashy.

I looked at 15yukons previous posts and I would have some real negative thoughts as well.

Just purchased my first Tahoe last month....a 2017 Tahoe Premier. I have only put 400 miles on it because I have a daily driver car for the 80 mile round trip to work every day. So far I love it ...I do admit that the lane keeping feature does drive me crazy but at least it can be turned off.

Yeah I just saw that too. Pretty unbelievable. I thought GM was producing quality cars now. But it sounds like the 1980's all over again.

I'm curious, what happened?

This is regarding a 2015 Yukon Denali XL. Let me list you the problems to date: transmission blew apart at 50,000 miles and just has to be completely replaced by GM. The Front Air conditioning broke, the passanger side running board does not go down and both act up all the time, the rear liftgate will not stay latched unless you force it and hold it closed or it will pop back out, truck makes strange air noises through behind ear when driving (looks like a loose plastic panel on door) which everyone says once one fails they all start to fail... it's always made strange buffeting noises through I think the headliner. Not to mention all the sensors that constantly Fault like the lane keep assist and blind spot system unless I'm stupid and don't know how they work. Some major lots of little stuff.

So far so good for me and imo there is not a better looking full size SUV in the market. The Ford SUV (Expedition/Navigator) are not very attractive. IMO that is. I haven't had any major issues but do agree that the sensors and navigation/backup camera are annoying. My sensor goes off when I am 10 feet away or 30 feet away from another vehicle. Also, back up camera has said service rear vision system 2 times in the last 2 months.
