What size is the larger and smaller fitting for the fuel spider lines in the top back of the engine is it different from supply to return. I have to find my sae stubbies but being an aircraft mech I almost never needed metric tools so I sold my snap-on metric stuff when I needed the cash. Can't afford to get them all back but a few tools to do my spider would be good for now.

I take even though this is an american vehicle I am gonna need to get metric tools for this tahoer. Correct?

Dammit Sunlit, You would have to ask that. I've been through this a dozen times and still have trouble remembering.
I believe the small one is 16 and the larger is 18. If you pick up 15-19 that should cover you.
I don't think Harbor freight has stubbies that big. Maybe Sears.

I also have locking flex ratchets so I could use open end or flare nut crows feet. I will see if I can scrounge enough for a snap-on set. If not then I will look for some temp sears ones. Won't touch the HF tools. When I'm back to work again I am going to stack up on snap-on again. I would not touch any aircraft or high-end/heavy machinery without them.

Thanks guys.

I dont even unbolt the lines from each other. I just take the 10mm hold down bolt off and disconnect the front with the 2 8mm bolts and just easily move it up out of the way. Just make sure it isn't hitting the trans tunnel when you put it back together.
