First post here, love all the information I have gotten so far through lurking.
Bought my first GM vehicle after driving junk dodge trucks for 10 years.
I thought I would miss the pickup, but I am in love with this Hoe.
2005 Tahoe LT, 5.3, 4x4. Bought from a dealership here in Iowa.
XM question - I have never had XM radio, I was under the impression this was a yearly subscription. All the stations come in currently and I am really digging bluesville and a few others. Had the previous owner paid for a year, and it will just stop working some day down the road?
Also, there is a label I am curious about under the hood. It's attached to the black plastic radiator cover. It says something like, "This vehicle is equipped with an automatic starting device, see owners manual to disconnect before working on the vehicle".
The key FOB's don't have any button that would appear to auto start the truck. Does this label have something to do with the OnStar capability to turn the car on and off? Or maybe the stock key FOB can be used to start it by pressing a series of lock/unlock buttons?
Sorry if I sound clueless. I am just not used to all these buttons and technology! lol
Thanks guys......
