I have one question, my box design is for 2 Fi ssd 18's rated at 1000w rms and its a subs up/port side set up for a total of 9.3 cubes(after port/bracing, and sub displacement) tuned to 33hz someone designed for me with a software for best sound according to the space, & shape of my 99 Yukon...the box is 48" wide to fit snugly between the wheel humps BUT, with the port facing the drivers side I am realizing that the drivers side is the wheel hump width is 48" and stays that way dam near all the way to the hatch lol, just leaving a few inches from the port exit to the side interior wall...so does the ports' exit need a certain amount of clearance for the air to exit? Or should I put the port on the passengers side? On the pass side after the wheel hump theres nothing else there so the width of the cargo area increases by several inches as opposed to the drivers side due to the tire jack compartment...hope this makes since and thanks to all in advance and happy new year!
