Hello dear all,
I have a medium coolant leak in my Yukon 2004 4.8L rear weel drive truck,
Attached a video with the leak while the car is running.

Please help me,
How it cab be fixed?
What is the part number of that bad spare part or is the cause the hose itself?
What are the correct procedures to refill the engine coolant water again?
Thank you.

If it's clear and not orange or grab L green, it's just condensation from the condenser.

Thank you for your kind reply,
First , I checked the coolant level and it is very low and i tried to fill it but it will not keep at full level.
Second, the AC is off and the water is still dropping.
I think it is from the two heater hose pipes that run back to feed the rear heat, in that case i want to bypass the heater core and connect the two main coolant hoses together as our country winter temperatures are from 10 degrees and above , is there any bad effect on the AC compressor if i bypassed the heater core ?
Thank you.

That won't affect the AC compressor at all, they're separate systems.

Thank you dear all for your help.

I am aiming to bypass the rear and the front hvac units so they will not receive heat ,

Does disabling heating function is better for the AC cooling system improving cooling as our country has very hot climate ?

I know how vehicle cooling works but how the car heating system works ?

Thank you.

It will not affect the ac system to bypass both heater cores. If you connect your inlet and outlet hoses together before they branch off of the plastic tees at the firewall you'll be ok. I would recommend disconnecting both hoses at the water pump/thermostat housing and buying a small molded u-shaped hose thats fits both barbs. Just seems like a lot of work to fix a leak. Effort would be better spent finding and fixing leak IMO. It actually helps the truck run cooler to have both heater cores not bypassed, as they are essentially small radiators.

Thank you for your reply.

How the car heating system works in the GM trucks ?

I think due to the cooling water is circulating all the times via the heaters and the small radiators that it makes the area around them very hot affecting the AC evaporator cooling making it not cool efficiently or lose cool very vast making the compressor works more often than if there are no heat surrounding the evaporator.

Is that correct and why not?

Thank you.

You are correct that the a/c can be affected by the hot water flowing through the heater core, but only a very small amount if the system is working properly. There are devices called blend doors that seal off the heater core when in the cooling mode. It is common for these blend doors to start hanging open due to component wear and failure.
The door actuators (motorized gear assemblies) are not made of high quality components-they have plastic gears like cheap battery drills and motors and temperature and location sensors made with inexpensive parts. So, besides the common bad o-rings that cause the leak you have, the whole system eventually needs to be rebuilt under the dash over time.
