Apparantly these have a huge failure rate. You have to replace the entire assembly. Each side list price is $672. Mine failed 7 months out of warranty and my dealer says no help available from GM.
I am curious as to others experience with how GM is helping or not with out of warranty failures.
There is a guy on Ebay who repairs these for $110 plus $20 return shipping. He says he has repaired 700 of these and I understand they are on back order from GM. His site is https://ebay.us/oGGHGe
