Well look what came in the mail today!

I'm going to install the steering wheel pieces today and hope to install the mirror caps this weekend. New pics to come. Many people have said that they had problems with the z71 exterior trim pieces but these look to have a clear coat over them so hopefully I don't run into that problem, I love the look of them too much!

Hopefully those don't get rust spots like the Z71 door handles!

The steering wheel cover was a good choice my friend. It KILLS what replaces it! Here's a real pic of my actual one:

Yeah mine had the clear coating and still got those rust spots. You are in a warm climate (no deicing chemicals on the roads) and should not have any problems.

If you head to a snowy environment, just get it was as soon as possible.

I'm not planning on getting into any cold climates with my truck and if it does it stays cleaned. Plus I'll still have my painted ones as a backup. About to install the steering wheel trim.

Just completed the steering wheel trim change. I'm going to do a writeup to change the trim instead of posting here. But here is the after!!

The steering wheel trim pieces look just like mine -- but I have an LTZ, not a Z71. What's the difference?

I just installed the brushed aluminum steering wheel trim pieces recently too.

I have the titanium interior so it looks a bit different against the grey leather, but still looks okay. Definitely an upgrade from the black POS that come factory.

This piece comes stock on the newest LTZs... It should be the same exact piece that comes on the z71. Mine is just an older LTZ so it didn't come with that piece because they didn't make it yet.
