whats the difference between the LTZ package and the Z71 package in the 07-08 models?

Z71 is a suspension package and will have silver in the middle of the front bumper no matter what color the truck is and will also have fender flares.

LTZ is as close as you can get to an Escalade without the Cadillac emblem. It should have all the bells and whistles.

What are you looking for specifically.

Just more accessories. Like leather heated seats, electric side mirrors, back up camera (if built in) and remote start.

An LTZ should definitely check those boxes, my 08 LTZ does.

Z71 could check all those boxes as well. Z71s are "usually" four wheel drive as well.

2009 was the first year for cooled seats as well just FYI.

I also forgot the fog lights are different between Z71 and non Z71.

Z71 = rectangular fog lights.

LTZ/non Z71 = 4" round fog lights.

Nothing really, maybe minimal electronic but nothing really changed first few years, 2009 got a small refresh but basically the same

Z71 doesn’t have a rear load level suspension.

There weren’t many differences until 09.
