The Z71 emblem is wearing off or has been scratch... Its the red part of the Z... Should I take it to the dealer and get a new one for free?

Another question... and no debadging... heh
The T A H O E - on the rear and sides are too much chrome for me, and i talked to a custom shop and he said he could put smoked pinstripe tape just on the front and leave the side edges (since the letters are 3D) still crome, should i do that or do they make those letters in a smoke color? i havent looked around yet just seeing if yall knew first.
I do like the guys idea of having the front of the letters dark and the outside edges chrome, because im going to have him paint my bowties but leave the outlining chrome, kinda sort of a theme but not really
