Put about 1/3 of a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil in my crank and drove it hard like I always do. This morning on cold start up it was completely gone. Going to substitute an entire quart on my next oil change next time I change it out. I think the stuff is pretty much transmission fluid but I'm not sure.. cost 5 bucks for a quart at auto zone.

I used quart of Gunk engine flush. Did wonders for a cold start lifter tap. used before an oil Chang. I wouldn't want to run it all the time.

I had heard to never use any kind of oil additive engine flush type fluid. From what I was told, they do an excellent job of cleaning out everything in your engine. It gets rid of all the sludge and sends it right down into your oil pan. The only problem is, you don't get it out when you do an oil change, so it ends up plugging up your oil pump screen and starves your engine...not good.

The flush and some gunk came out first. My oil pressure is nice and healthy. Only used synthetic oil so it wasn't that bad. I heard the same about marvel. Gotta live dangerous sometimes!
