A work in progress
Its pretty simple.
1. Unscrew the plastic wing-nut on the firewall side of the stock throttle body.
2. Lift the plastic box that says Vortec up and towards the front of the truck. 3. Once that is out of the way unplug the throttle position sensor and some other sensor from the tb.
4. Then disconnect the throttle cable(s).
5. There will be three posts holding the tb in. Get a deep socket and pull them out. The two front deep socket bolts are 8mm, and the rear bolt is 6mm.
6. Remove the 10mm bolt holding on the throttle linkage bracket.
The stock tb should come out then.
7. Remove the sensors using a torx head screw driver.
Theres a plastic clip that holds the cruz cable which needs to be moved to the new tb as well.
8. Then just put everything back together in the order you took it apart. Simple as that
