ABS light on sometimes....

as it says my ABS light comes on sometimes and turns off while driving then comes on again maybe a minute later........and ideas???

FYI my parking light brake does NOT come on as well... JUST the ABS light

faulty wheel speed sensor. Wont know for sure unless you can get a code pulled.

ok so i tried to get the code pulled but autozone told me they can only pull check engine light codes, do i need to go to chevy for them to put a diff computer on it to pull the code off?

Does your Parking Brake Light come on as well? Both ABS and Park Brake lights are intermittently coming on in my ride. I am suspecting the ECBM ground. I have already replaced it once. Try to clean up the ground (supposed to be a big 12ga wire grounded to the frame).

only the ABS light comes on and not the parking brake light like ive seen in other cases....i was thinking it could be the ECBM as well but if that isnt it what else could it be??

I had a similar problem but both my abs and parking light came on bad news it was my abs control module bout 500.00 to fix it

you probably are on the road to needing a wheel bearing, if you jack up the front and spin the wheel you'll probably feel it

hmm i have replaced both of my hub assembly in the past 2 years....

idno if this has to do with it but when i am turning and braking at the same time, if i hit a bump by brake pettal goes limp for a second, idno if that is just anti lock brakes or a problem

Maybe the 27s are messing something up? Try running factory wheels (Just for a weekend) to see if the issue still exists. My $0.02
