Update after a week of driving, the new pump started whining, so i am going to replace that, and go from there i guess. I am kind of annoyed by the quality of replacement parts these days. I'm just saying :(- ZEUS1

Correct, they only hook up one way, that is why i was confused by the line positions.- ZEUS1

Ok i want to start by saying i got everything back together. On initial start up after replacement, the steering seemed fine while i cycled it to purge all the air out of the pump and gear.
