Coolant Drain Plug on Block...2012 / 5.3
Howdy. Anyone know the size of the coolant drain plug? I can only see one on the drivers' side of the block. Appears to be a hex recessed type plug that needs a "giant allen wrench" to remove. Next coolant flush, I want to remove it to make the flush a better one. Thank you...Pete- blondie70

Ball Joint Replacement
Replaced my right lower ball joint. It likta killed me. What a PIA. It was the first one I ever did and I hope the last...ha ha. I had the ball joint kit at the ready. Front Frame Rails Weldment or Steel Cup
Howdy Gents I got my tow hooks on ....thanks for the help. Curious about the cups that look down on the front of the frame rails. About the size of a big horse hoof. (right below the tow hooks) What the heck are these things ? Thank You.....Pete- blondie70

Removal of front seat cushions
Howdy Gents. I wonder if it's possible to unbolt/remove the front seat cushions to swap right to left? Put the passenger cushion in the drivers' seat ? I have not looked at them too closely, am wondering if they are simply screwed onto the seat frame and can be easily removed ? Thanks......Pete... -

Blocking off rear heater
Howdy. Wanting to block off/isolate the rear heater core as I do not use it. This to avoid future failure, etc.. Any of you guys know a practical way to do this ? Thank you Pete -

How do I keep lights off when I start up ?
Howdy....I want to keep the lights off when I drive in the daytime. I have the fuse pulled on the DRL. I went to DIC and turned off entry and exit lighting. BUT....the dang lights still come on when I start. The rotary control knob for lighting will not stay in the OFF position as it defaults...- blondie70

AM/FM radio antenna
Got a plain ole radio antenna installed on my 2012 Tahoe today. Now my radio picks up the FM stations I like locally. Radio has xm or whatever it is that I don't care for. It would not get the FM stations at all before on the stock antenna in the rear glass.- blondie70

Great Forum and I am learning a lot about my Tahoe. One thing I have not seen mentioned is the holes in the front of the "bumper cover" that are down even with the fog lites. These holes line up with the frame rails. Looks like there is something that goes in these, but don't know what. Can... -

Trans Pan removal
Howdy. New guy here. 2012 Tahoe with 6 speed. I am changing the trans filter and having one heck of a problem removing the pan. It don't wanna come out ! Anyone have any tips for me to get the pan off ? Thanks a million Pete- blondie70
