Nice, does it dim pretty well at night also?
Do you have a link from the place that you ordered from that does your splicing and plugs for you when they send it?
www.crutchfield.com is the place.

'02 is 1.5 din unfortunately. That's pretty nice that you found one that fits without cutting.I use a Sony in my 2001. No volume knob. No CD player. But it fits simple and clean in the dreaded “DIN-and-a-half” location without cutting the metal support bracket because it’s shallow dimension. I’m not sure if 2002 is double-DIN or 1.5-DIN.
I used the Crutchfield prewired harness and would highly recommend this.
Also, your speakers are probably disintegrated after two decades. I used Polk 6.5” and they were a near perfect drop-in.
Look forward to seeing some pics!

Absolutely, there are day and night setting where it will auto dim. At the dimmest setting you can barely see the screen during the day.Nice, does it dim pretty well at night also?

I got this same exact model. I got the basic integration, so I still have chimes and the radio stays on for a while after it's shut off, but no steering wheel controls (it's supposed to have them but I couldn't get it to work). It takes a few seconds to turn on, but it has a knob and bluetooth, as well as time alignment, an EQ, and Front/Rear/Sub prepamp outputs if you're adding extra equipment like me. I've been satisfied, although if you're replacing the door speakers you'll probably want to add an external amp as it get loud, but not loud.I used a kenwood ddx3 double din I’ve had it since Maybe 2017? Give or take she’s been a good radio for sure
I had it in my 99 Silverado and now it’s in my 07 Tahoe
