Yea I plastidipped the chrome to see how it looked. Kept it on over winter and was gonna tear it back off but I'm keeping it like this till i cm everything.

Needs a detail and some black paint for that frame peeking out now.
And now needs a more low than ever before. Compliments the roof rack delete nicely now.

Threw the fender flares back on just for giggles. I think it looks pretty good but everyone else is hating on them hard lol. Its temporary and i will remove them shortly since ill be doing a drop and bigger wheels with a clean and sleeker look. Later ptm the flares and see how that looks.







Also threw a quick coat of way on. Needs another multi stage detail on the paint, still not where I want it.

Also did the full recline mod on both sides.

Also shaved out the area for the 2nd row footwell lights. Now with the full recline mod I have to notch the top of the plastic trim.

I want new light housings but holding off on anymore aftermarket parts till I buy a drop kit and fix my hatch holes lol

Also went through the automatic car wash and the tahoe completely died..after the wash was done had to get the car wash employee to help me push it out of the bay.
Had the guy give me a jump and I was on my way home till it died again on the side of the road and i was able to barely pull in a near by parking lot. If the car wash wasn't embarrassing enough.

Did some trial and error research and found out my alternator crapped out on me. But wasn't too mad knowing it was the original alternator from 03. Kinda impressed actually, went 150,000 miles strong.

Got a triple tested remanufactured 145amp alternator at auto zone for $160 including core charge and same warranty as a brand new one that was $200 and only tested once

Changed it in the parking lot. Btw one of the easiest fixes I've ever done in my life on any vehicle

(Side note, I need to do the big 3 upgrade soon)
