20 Year-old Brake Fluid is NASTY. How to Flush! // VID

Take a peek inside your Master Cylinder Reservoir. I did and was surprised at how NASTY my 2003 Corvette Brake Fluid was.
By the look of it - I am pretty sure it was 20 year old original fluid and so I had to flush it.

I'd flush a lot sooner than 20 years. I flushed my Yukon with less than 50,000 miles on it at the time. I use a Harbor Freight pneumatic vacuum fluid extractor attached right to the bleeders, and I flush it through for about 5 minutes per corner until all of the fluid runs clean and the master cylinder reservoir is nice as well. Every single vehicle I have ever performed this sequence on always has a stiffer pedal at the end as well, my Yukon included!

I live in the rust belt, so usually a line will break and the fluid gets flushed like it or not well before 20 years. This is a bad pic of the fluid that came out of my goldwing..
