2021 Navigation won't stop narrating the drive

Anyone have the sudden experience of their navigation endlessly narrating their vehicle's position? There doesn't seem to be a way to turn off navigation. Hitting the "x" does not stop it.
This is a brand new issue.

Try somthing simple like asking it to take you home, then when you get home, accept that you arrived.
