Adaptive Cruise Control Acceleration

Did a road trip yesterday and used the adaptive cruise control. Once slower vehicles in front of me cleared the way my YD accelerates pretty hard until it gets back to speed. A definite gas guzzeling act.

Is there a way to use regular cruise control rather than the adaptive? I'm not seeing anything in the manual. In my Infiniti I can hold the cc button until the adaptive light goes off to use regular cc.

It'll be interesting to see how the new 8-speed with accelerate with the ACC

Man you are all about that 8 speed. I'm curious to see if the 8 speed makes the HID projector cutoff any sharper myself.
