I knew this was going to turn into a blackbear frenzy......but my question was clear.....i want to be able to change my settings on demand.....a custom tune cant do that....

now with that cleared up, has anyone had a good experience with a programmer:)

I am with you on this one. I guess if it is ALL about maximum HP then go with BB, I hear good things. However, if you are under warranty (factory or extended) or want to change between an economy and a 93 for power there has to be a better way than swapping out ECM's?????? If you factor in the cost of not getting the core charge back on a BB tune so that you can have for warranty work the cost advantage is gone.

I may be wrong, but am with you on this one.

Black Bear is moving in the handheld direction if I'm not mistaken...

yes, i have recieved email confirmation that they are!

but no timeline =(
or estimated arrival... maybe ill just have to wait for that.

Custom tune then custom handheld thereafter once they are available... Either way you won't be disappointed with Black Bear's customer service.
