07 Yukon Denali w/stock 6.2L L92 w/195k corrosion free miles. No DIC or CEL. It runs great.
BUT the fuel gauge is all over the place. And the pump is 17 yrs old. I'm dropping the tank and replacing???

It's my understanding the fuel level sending unit is part of the fuel pump module. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Bosch 67442 = $200
AC Delco MU1683 = $300
GM 19370394 = $400

Any other choices????

When I ordered my pump from the dealer did not notice until I dropped the tank it did not have a level sensor something to check.
Depends on what part of the US you are in might want to order a Locking tank ring and maybe the fuel lines, 70% of tank drop videos from GM suvs all have rust on top of the fuel pump area. See photo below.

Mine ran fine but the gauge was inaccurate below 1/4 tank and I never knew it. I replaced it with a Delphi. I'd recommend Delphi or Bosch. I'm pretty sure the AC Delco and GM Genuine are made by one of them, anyway.

Roger, on the right track. Bosch is OEM. If it comes with a sender & lifetime warranty, get that. A/C Delco is, of course, GM. If that comes with a sender and lifetime warranty, get that.

Obviously change out that carbon canister if you haven’t yet when you’re doing the job. Check your sender harness carefully in case that’s what’s really acting up.

This is a talk to you about the fuel issues again in about another 100k mi kind of repair.
