if You have the electric release rear seats in your LTZ, the headrests are STUCK in the low position.
you can barely force the rear tether/anchor strap under the OEM headrest.
most women can't, which means the Dad has to push it through.
if you do get it through, it feels like it will rip the dickens out of the pleather when you pull it back thru.
to take the OEM NNBS rear headrests off, there is a tiny hole on the trim cover.
(you do NOT have to take off the black cover, I just did it for pics)
use a small punch, and press in the release.
the odd part is they face the same way, so one is facing out, and one is facing in between the posts.
i marked off an inch down, and put some tape on it
you could use a peice of black tape to mark it down about 3/4 an inch.
to put the tape on the post, wrap it backwards around the ruler, then align it, and wrap it
used an air grinder, the blade is the perfect size.
here is the OEM picture:

the caveat will be, you will need to slide the front seat up to allow the headrest to clear, so the seat can fold & tumble forward, but you have to do that in an LT anyways, so IDK.
IMO, the electric release is just added weight to hurt MPG, and something else to break. the button is in such an awkward place, it's easier to use the manual handle, however....YMMV?
