When applying tire shine products like the new ceramic coatings or the older Armor All, do I need to be careful not to get on the brake rotors or is yhis not of s concern?

I use Chemical Guys VRP and their durafoam applicator. Never apply directly to the tires

you don't want anything getting on the rotor period.

1. Never use Armor-All on anything. It's crap. I guarantee you that every Jeep owner driving around with faded, milky fender flares used Armor-All on them at least once.
2. Spray tire shine on a foam applicator, and then wipe the product onto your tires via the applicator. You can easily control the application of the product that way.
