Thermostat Shortage?

My Yukon is in the shop for a few of things right now (bad oil pan seal, bad fuel injector and a bad thermostat). The holdup in getting my truck back is the complete lack of availability of new replacement thermostats for the LM2.

The dealer has been very responsive, they just can't get the part. Anyone else out there with a bad thermostat or waiting on a thermostat?

Well that explains why the dealer kept referring to the bad part as a "valve". When I inquired about the "valve", that's when they said it was basically a thermostat. Now it makes more sense. But my question is essentially unchanged, anyone else having trouble with this part?
