I recently installed a new set of speakers and have a subwoofer on order. Sounds way better than the stock system but still need to adjust the levels once the sub arrives.

Infinity Kappa 6/34 components in front
Infinity Kappa 6/34 2 way in back
JL Audio JX400/4D 4 channel Amp
JL Audio ACP208LG-W3V3 powered subwoofer
Dynamat Extreme Bulk Pack

I used the high level inputs to integrate the amp in with the stock system. IMG_8754.JPG IMG_8763.JPG IMG_8765.JPG

Door panel removal instructions Please!!! :)

I didn't take pics of the removal but it is very straight forward. 1st-remove the screws located at the bottom of the door panel (front doors have 2 screws and rear doors have 1 screw). 2nd-pop off the plastic trim below the windshield control (where the cut out to open/close the door is) and remove 2 more screws. 3rd- pop off the plastic trim behind the door handle and unscrew the last screw. After all screws are removed forcefully pull from the bottom and work your way to the top. At the top you will slide the entire panel upwards to detach it from the door. Disconnect all connections once removed. Instructions are kind of vague but once you do 1 door, the others are almost identical.

If I need to get inside the panel again I will be sure to take detailed pictures and post.

Hey rgctech, can you provide details on how you integrated the amp into the stock system? I have been looking at speakers recently as well and wanted to do a similar setup.

Also, how did you run the + wire from battery to the amp?

Is the amp secured by velcro?

Thanks in advance!

You can purchase a sound processor to convert the signal from your stock radio speaker wires into RCAs (LC7i is a good unit)

Or you can just connect the stock speaker leads to the high level input on the AMP (if the amp has high level inputs).

I ran 4 gauge wiring from the battery into a small factory plugged hole on the front passenger side door (just pop off the rubber grommet and you can run wires into the cabin). I grounded to the body and connected the remote wire to the cigarette lighter + (I was unable to locate a switched power signal on the factory harness)

Amp is secured with velcro.
