Hello - I am experiencing intermittent issues with CarPlay not working when I plug in the device. I have to unplug and it usually works the second time.

Is it worth fussing with the dealer on a software update? And if so, does anyone know the latest version for this model? I would hate to pay them to ‘update’ the software when it’s already the latest version…. 2017 Yukon Denali 4x4 US

probably better off buying a usb wireless adapter, then it becomes seamless, no need for plugging the phone in anymore. I have android and experience the same issue if the phone cable even wiggles a little using a wireless usb dongle solves the issue entirely.

Yes I have one but sometimes I need to charge the device. I also have issues with the speed when using Onstar cellular data.

I use a seperate charger for mine if on a long trip, this works 100%
is your phone on a limited data plan? if not I wouldn't even bother connecting to onstar data in any form
