Too "conceptish" for me. Can't believe they're killing big bodies..... Although it shouldn't be a surprise!

well when you look at the body lines of the masked tahoe, it looks very close to the same lines. but im glad i bought my tahoe when i did and didnt wait out for the next one. i like big trucks. i dont want a small crossover style suv.

I doubt they switch it to a crossover as they already have crossovers.

thats the idea though..... smaller motors, smaller suv....they already have smaller and they already have crossovers, but none of them sell as good as the escalade/tahoe/yukon nameplate.

Looks like crap. Reminds me of a minivan/small suv.

So would it make sense to offer yet another crossover? They will keep escalade/tahoe/yukon on a truck frame.

look at how much lower and longer the masked tahoe looks. lower roof line. lower stance.

yes, but their fazing out large suv's this is part of the process. you dont make it too drastic. but the goal in the end is to fade it out gradually. you can already tell in the next generation SUV from the pictures.
and just like many other nameplates that dont work out so well...they just stop making them. who knows, maybe theyll faze out the crossover and just throw the escalade/tahoe and yukon in that spot. carry on sales as usual.
